About the role

As a Content Manager at Calls Over Ridges Philippines, you will play a crucial role in shaping our narrative and disseminating our mission to local communities and stakeholders. You will help us build up our social media presence on Instagram, Facebook, and our website. We are looking for an individual who embodies our core values and is driven to make a tangible impact in the communities we serve.

Responsibilities

  • Marketing and Communication: Leverage marketing skills specific to the NGO sector to enhance engagement and support through targeted campaigns, storytelling, and public awareness initiatives.
  • International Content Support: Supply the headquarters with materials reflecting local insights for the development of content aimed at transnational audiences. Ensure these contributions are in harmony with the marketing team’s branding and storytelling strategies.
  • Facebook, Instagram and Website Management: Strategically manage and grow our presence on social media, aiming to increase our legitimacy and visibility. This involves content planning, scheduling, engagement analysis, and adaptation to audience feedback.
  • Content Development: Generate captivating narratives and visually appealing content across platforms. Using Canva, you’ll craft articles, social media posts, reports, and infographics that vividly convey our mission and impacts, aiming to engage and motivate our local audience.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain and build relationships with key stakeholders to support our goals and activities.

Salary

  • Monthly salary ₱35,000 to ₱40,000, based on qualifications and experience
  • Employees will be entitled to the following benefits: Transportation Subsidy, Medical Insurance, Social Security Benefits
Profile

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Adaptability: Willingness to relocate to Siargao, Philippines, and ability to adapt to changing environments and challenges
  • Cultural Sensitivity: Ability to work effectively in diverse cultural contexts, demonstrating a deep respect and understanding of different cultures
  • Content Creation Skills: Proficiency in digital graphic creation tools such as Canva, with a keen eye for design and aesthetics
  • Writing Proficiency: Excellent writing skills, capable of producing engaging and impactful content for a variety of audiences
  • Commitment to Impact: Deep commitment to positively impacting the lives of children through education and community development

Desirable Qualifications

  • Car & Motorcycle Driving License
  • Experience in NGO Marketing
  • Experience with International Grants and Stakeholder Management
  • Frontline NGO Experience
  • Basic photography skills
