Your role:

You will be based in Jakarta and report directly to Program Manager. This position is a support role and will focus primarily on supporting Manager in performing the key responsibilities below:

  • Provide technical support in the development of concepts and proposal for the investment and co-funding programs with the private sectors in the target landscapes.
  • Provide technical and administrative support in developing and maintaining tracking projects status, work plan, and budget to ensure the deliverables/outputs of the projects are met.
  • Monitor and review general financial activities from partners and ensure that budget allocation and finance reports are accurate and comply with IDH policies and procedures.
  • Develop program/project summaries, reports, and other publications reports on YIDH projects as needed.
  • In coordination with operations team, draft financial agreements under co-funding scheme design, including the support in negotiation process of investment with donors, partners, and key stakeholders.
  • Assist in conducing due diligence process for potential partners.
  • Support in procurement process of the projects according to IDH policies.
  • Support in strong relationship building and managing with the players in the innovative financing and sustainable investment community.

You are highly proficient in spoken and written English. You have strong verbal and written communication skills.

What you bring

  • Advance degree preferably in Economic, Finance, Development Studies, business, agriculture, environment, natural resource management, or a comparable field of knowledge.
  • 3+ years of relevant working experience in international organizations/settings, preferable experience in either business development, project management, fundraising, and/or developing public-private partnerships.
  • Strong knowledge of financial administration and budgets.
  • Experienced in project and stakeholder management.
  • Strong knowledge and willing to learn project contracting and administration process.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially a very good working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with current issues in forest management, sustainable landscapes, and impact investment.
