The Project
RYSE is a Malaysian research and social outreach programme. Our vision is to increase upward socio-economic mobility for Malaysian youths. We run entrepreneurship and employability programmes to train and to support young people who are interested in starting up their own businesses or upskill themselves to improve their employability. Research data collection is also embedded in the programmes to contribute to academic research on entrepreneurship and youth employability. We are currently supported by Citi Foundation and hosted in Asia School of Business.
The Role
We are looking for a Programme & Operations (contract) to assist us in our mission to create upward mobility for Malaysian youths. This contract for service will be for a period of six (6) months, commencing 1 April 2024 to 30 September 2024.
The Work
The Programme & Operations (contract) will be supporting the RYSE team in:
- To assist in monitoring programme progress to help ensure timely and effective delivery and completion.
- To assist in the design, development and review of programme curriculums, learning materials and other content.
- To assist in the execution of programmes, including planning and coordinating activities, as well as delivering and facilitating program content.
- To support in the programme recruitment process and participant affairs by liaising with programme applicants and participants.
- To support in the planning and coordinating of programme logistical needs such as liaising with vendors, arranging transportation, food or facilities.
- To support in organising and running program events, workshops, webinars, and networking sessions to widen RYSE's network for collaboration and support.
- To participate in the general administrative activities of RYSE as needed.
