Job Summary

The Finance and Admin Manager is responsible for a healthy financial and administrative management of the Manila Office. The Finance and Admin Manager cooperates and works closely with the Executive Director.

FINANCE Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the financial management of the Manila Coordination Office and sound fiscal management.
  • Provides support to WGNRR Africa office in budget preparations and reporting to funders
  • Responsible for the grant’s administration and monitoring working with the Executive Director to ensure that reporting requirements are met.
  • Responsible for the preparation of annual and project budget and financial reports (monthly and annual) in coordination with the Executive Director
  • Responsible for salary administration (payroll, taxes and other statutory benefits).
  • Responsible for the Cash Flow management and monthly cash flow forecasts
  • Prepares monthly finance report, quarterly overviews for review.
  • Informs financial risks in advance and is adept at local laws and taxes and liabilities
  • Prepares monthly bank reconciliation.
  • Responsible in the preparation of audit requirements and assistance in the actual institutional and project/s audit
  • Provides support to programme staff in the development of budgets for new projects activities across all WGNRR locations
  • Maintains and updates as required WGNRR financial procedures and guidance document
  • Oversees the Finance team and support the programme team on financial matters
  • Help the Executive Director with presentations on financial management, cash flows to the Global Board

ADMIN Responsibilities:

  • Responsibility to ensure that WGNRR complies with all legal and employment requirements within the Philippines
  • Responsible for the smooth operations of the Coordination Office including the network, internet and phone systems
  • Responsible for the personnel administration i.e. payment of salaries, contracts, time writing, holiday & sick leave and compensation time.
  • Responsible for ensuring adequate insurance cover for staff and WGNRR equipment both on and off site including health benefits.
  • With the Executive Director, ensures the implementation of personnel policies.
  • Induction of new staff/interns and volunteers on WGNRR personnel policies including time writing protocols.
  • Oversees proper equipment, furniture and fixtures inventory
  • Responsible of maintenance and setting up of admin and financial policies and protocols
  • Responsible for setting up and oversee protocols for approvals for expenses with the Executive Director
  • Responsible for logistical requirements and supervises the admin and finance team and helps with seamless logistical support.
Profile

Qualifications:

  • Filipino national
  • Have at least 10 years of experience in Finance & Admin in national or international NGO.
  • Accountancy degree or an advanced financial management degree.
  • Have a sound writing and spoken English skills, along with extensive knowledge of local language.
  • Excellent soft skills and is able to work with cross-functional teams
  • Able to work with remote-based leadership, and have good people’s communication
  • Understand the issues surrounding SRHR and has strong feminist values.
  • Is a critical thinker, have problem-solving attitude, is creative and adaptable.

Salary Range: PhP60,000 to PhP70,000 per month inclusive of statutory benefits and is commensurate to experience & qualification
