Headquartered in Singapore, Mercy Relief was established in 2003 to respond to human tragedies and disasters in Asia Pacific.

Today, we are Singapore’s leading independent disaster relief agency with dedicated leadership, capacity building expertise and an affiliate network operating across the entire disaster management cycle.

Mercy Relief provides emergency aid within 72 hours of an appeal in the aftermath of a disaster. Our longer-term sustainable development programmes aim to uplift and empower communities in five key areas: water and sanitation, shelter, sustainable livelihoods, healthcare and education.

For the past decade, Mercy Relief has responded to more than 95 disasters with more than $46.1 million in relief across 28 countries. We have implemented more than 76 sustainable development initiatives and impacted an aggregate of over 2.7 million lives.

Profile

As Executive, Corporate Resources and Outreach, you will play a crucial role in raising funds, driving awareness, and expanding Mercy Relief’s network of compassionate donors and volunteers. This position is ideal for a proactive, people-focused, driven individual to build meaningful partnerships inspired by humanitarian causes.

Key Responsibility Areas:

  • Fundraising and Donor Engagement:
  • Develop and implement creative fundraising strategies to secure sustainable funding sources for Mercy Relief’s disaster response and development programs.
  • Manage relationships with potential and existing donors to build a network of compassionate supporters with an end objective to grow donor retention rate.
  • Plan and execute fundraising events and campaigns, both physical and virtual, to promote Mercy Relief’s humanitarian initiatives.
  • Marketing and Outreach:
  • Assist Manager, CORE to create and manage marketing strategies to enhance Mercy Relief’s brand presence and communicate impactful stories from our humanitarian missions.
  • Utilize social media, traditional media, and digital marketing to increase public engagement and drive fundraising campaigns and outreach activities.
  • Design and implement outreach activities including events to attract new donors and engage volunteers who share Mercy Relief’s humanitarian values.
  • Partnership and Network Building:
  • Assist Manager, CORE to Identify and build partnerships with corporate sponsors, foundations, and other community organizations to extend Mercy Relief’s network and resources.
  • Engage with stakeholders to foster community-based support and align collaborative efforts with Mercy Relief’s goals.
