About Aquarev:

Aquarev is a venture-backed social enterprise created by The Meloy Fund to renovate, revitalize, and revolve credit for up to 75,000 poorly performing smallholder shrimp farms in Indonesia. Via a proprietary agtech+fintech platform, farmers receive financial support for best-practice renovation and climate-smart intensification of their shrimp ponds, and are provided hands-on support and guidance at the farm level to optimize the day-to-day cultivation process.

Aquarev is now launching its growth phase, bringing in more than US$4 million in investment to scale up its reach to 300 farmers and to implement a series of new sustainability initiatives. Aquarev seeks a dynamic, creative, and high-integrity management team to drive the growth of this innovative new company forward, ultimately to reach thousands of small-scale farmers in Indonesia and beyond.

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced Head of Revenue Operations to lead our revenue generation efforts and drive business growth.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategies to acquire new customers and expand market reach.
  • Create sales and revenue plans, including streamlining product offerings and pricing strategies.
  • Lead efforts to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities.
  • Balances customer demand with constraints in order to achieve customer service, margin and working capital targets
  • Oversee demand-supply planning to ensure optimal inventory levels and production efficiency.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to streamline operations and improve supply chain processes.
  • Monitor key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Oversee the sales process for harvested shrimp products, ensuring alignment with company objectives and customer needs.
  • Develop pricing strategies and promotional campaigns to maximize sales revenue.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify areas for improvement and innovation.
  • Manage the overall distribution process of shrimp products to retail partners, ensuring timely delivery and efficient logistics.
  • Reduces surprises and enhances proactive decision-making.


  • Bachelor's degree in Aquaculture/Agriculture, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in business development, sales, or revenue operations, preferably in the aquaculture, shrimp/fisheries, or agriculture industry.
  • Professional working proficiency in English.
  • Proven leadership skills with experience leading teams and driving results in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and rapidly changing business landscape.
