Position Overview :

We are looking for a versatile and organized Finance Accounting Staff to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. This position will handle essential financial management tasks, including maintaining financial records, preparing reports, budgeting, and ensuring compliance with non-profit financial regulations.

Responsibilities :

  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring compliance with non-profit accounting standards and practices.
  • Maintain accurate and complete financial records, including donations, grants, and expenditures.
  • Assist in the preparation and monitoring of the organization’s annual budget.
  • Facilitate and support annual audits, ensuring adherence to financial laws and standards specific to non-profits.
  • Monitor and manage the organization's cash flow and prepare cash flow forecasts.
  • Assist in the preparation and filing of tax returns and other statutory requirements.
  • Handle accounts payable and receivable, including processing invoices and managing collections.
  • Communicate with donors, staff, and external partners regarding financial matters.
Profile

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 2+ years of accounting or finance experience, preferably in a non-profit organization.
  • Proficiency in non-profit accounting software; Accurate, Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Understanding of non-profit financial management, including fund accounting, donor restrictions, and grant management.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with non-profit financial regulations, standards, and best practices.
  • Capability to prioritize tasks and adhere to deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience with financial reporting to donors and regulatory bodies.
  • Knowledge of financial management related to international NGOs, if applicable.
