Job Summary

  • Key responsibilities will include continuous alignment and proactive engagement with EHS Manager, interested parties, internal and external, about ESG & Compliance opportunities, risks, and effects that are relevant to the company's business operations.
  • To focus on developing and delivering sustainability initiatives for the Group while being in charge of determining the team's daily compliance and ESG tasks and setting priorities for them.
  • Support the EHS Manager in creating and implementing compliance policies, procedures, processes, and regulatory changes.

Job Description

  • Support the EHS Manager on all matters related to Group sustainability/ESG.
  • Communicate and align with internal and external interested parties on Compliance and ESG strategies, as well as collect data, prepare reports, and follow up on Scope 1, 2, and 3 Green House Gas emissions, Water consumption, Waste Management, and ESG.
  • Prepare and/or conduct Compliance & ESG training for relevant working groups and suppliers.
  • Developing and maintain best practices and procedures relative to Compliance & ESG strategies, requirements and reporting.
  • Familiar with all Compliance & ESG reporting including but not limited to GSS, LCOS, Excel file data analysis, and supporting methods of reporting.
  • Implement approaches in ESG data accounting, monitoring and reporting with particular focus on renewable energy, assurance and sustainable finance.
  • Report on progress, benchmark indices, and identify gaps in the Group's sustainability program and materiality assessment.
  • Conduct research and analytics on renewable energy, sustainable finance, and ESG certifications.
  • Stay current on all industry developments related to sustainability reporting and benchmarking practices, ensuring best practices in reporting methodologies that are used.
  • Any other duties that will be assigned from time to time by the Management.
Profile

Qualifications

  • Possess a Diploma/Degree in Environmental Studies/ Sustainable Development/ Quality Management, ESG or related field.
  • Familiarized with ISO Audits or have acceptable knowledge in Environment & Quality Management, ESG & Compliance, will be an advantage
  • Possess Certification or training evidence on sustainability/ESG (particularly on renewable energy, assurance or sustainable finance) or others related would be an advantage.
  • Experience working on renewable energy would be an advantage.
  • Has knowledge in using visualisation software would be an advantage (e.g., GHG software or equivalent)
  • Has knowledge in GHG Protocol or carbon accounting or Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Standards will be an advantage.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of relevant working experience.

Skills & Abilities

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong career integrity, exercise due diligence and give attention to details.
  • Strong understanding of ESG and familiarized in sustainability reporting frameworks.
  • Able to analyse and evaluate enormous data sets in order for them to be effectively represented in a timely and effective manner.
