Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducts supplier pricing and bid negotiations and recommends the best source to meet budget and deadline requirements.
  • Maintains awareness and knowledge of contemporary and best practices procurement methodologies. Identify and implement methods and strategies aimed to improve efficiency
  • in the procurement processes.
  • Takes the initiative in developing and carrying out the annual procurement plan, including the budget and schedule.
  • Facilitates end-to-end procurement process for National Office adhering to the standard procedure set by the organization.
  • Provide support assistance with procurement needs of program locations.
  • Participates in the creation, design, execution, and evaluation of procurement programs and initiatives.
  • Performs audits and inventory management and create ensuing reports and documentation.
  • Keeps an accurate account of assets and inventory. Ensures that disposal of assets follows the prescribed procedure.
  • Adheres to and upholds the standards and principles of Child Protection Policy and Code of Conduct to ensure the reputation of SOS as a child-care organization and in respect to the fundamental rights of all persons.
  • Perform other tasks that, consistent with the job description, may be assigned from time to time.
Profile

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Business Administration
  • At least 3 years of working experience in similar role.
  • Knowledge and experience in an NGO setup is preferable but not required. With exposure in Project Management
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of contemporary procurement practices.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow well-defined procedures
